After a long period of time of constant attempts of creating new banners and discarding unsatisfactory ones, I've finally made a new header banner that I like! For a while now, I've been wanting to change the layout of Elegance of Fashion after I started to notice that my layout has gotten a bit messy, and I wanted to clean it up a little bit and change things up.
So, as I am finding out what works best along the side bars, I will be changing some smaller things on Elegance of Fashion before the big layout change. Of course, before I go and change the main pictures and what not, I'll post pictures of this layout.
And, of course, if you have any suggestions as to what I could do to clean up the layout, feel free to leave a comment. I can't promise I'll use all your suggestions, but I will certainly consider them.
I'm hoping to release the new layout by August. I still need to do a couple of things before I officially announce a date.

ReplyDeleteHmm...suggestions. Well one thing I noticed during the Fashion Week was that the Blog Archive list was below the Labels List which made it harder to access all the interesting posts during that week. But you seem to have changed that.
Something I've found helpful for cutting down on the excess scrolling it to put the Labels List at the very bottom of my page, but then I don't use my own Labels list very often.

I like this design! But I must admit, your first was my favorite...or the one before this -- was that the first? I loved that one so much. Looking forward to seeing your new header!
