Here are the banners that I have made. If you click on the banner, you will get the full size banner (1000 pixels x 300 pixels). If you would like to put them up on your blog, you may, but I do want a link back to Elegance of Fashion.

Hello Miss Elizabeth Bennet! I love your blog! So amazing! And these banners are absolutely brilliant! One problem... when i've already clicked on the banner, and have a full size (1000 pixels x 300 pixels) it automatically switches to the next one.
ReplyDeleteFor example, I want the Amazing Grace one... (It's SOOOO pretty!) and when I click on it, it skips to the Downton Abbey banner and highlights that. Suggestions? :)
Thanks!
Miss Elizabeth
Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteI've noticed that Blogger has changed that so it views like an album now. Try to right click on the thumbnail and go to properties. Where it has the URL of the picture, copy it and paste it into the address bar. You should just get the picture then. If you need anymore help, let me know :-)
Thank you so much! It worked! :-)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I really have enjoyed your blog! Thanks for posting what you do! :)
Dear Miss Bennet,
ReplyDeleteI have found your blog to be a most fascinating one! I greatly enjoy all the period dramas I can get my hands on, especially Jane Austen and Elizabeth Gaskell. I was wondering, have you seen Wives & Daughters? I don't remember seeing it in your list of reviews and I just wondered because it's really good (though a bit tedious in short segments!). And I had another inquiry to make, quickly: how do you respond to the letters? I loved Little Dorrit and I really wanted to reply to the letter, but I didn't know how...and since I only found this blog this morning (while searching for Sense & Sensibility backgrounds for my user haha) I made up my mind to contact you and ask. :) I remain, your loyal servant (not really, but it's polite haha) -Miss Elizabeth Grey
Miss Elizabeth Grey,
ReplyDeleteWelcome! I have seen Wives and Daughters and liked it. I reviewed it a while ago here (http://elegance-of-fashion.blogspot.com/2011/01/review-wives-and-daughters.html)
For the letters, it's a part of an event. If you don't have a blog and would like to participate, you could leave a comment with the letter in the Letter post. There's more information here (http://elegance-of-fashion.blogspot.com/2012/01/period-drama-advice-event.html)
Your blog is really inspiring! I loved Kiera Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice. I'm definitely taking that banner!haha : ) I'll mention this blog with the banner. I want my readers to see how amazing it is!
ReplyDeletep.s. if you could check out my art/fashion blog, konnikim.wordpress.com , that would be great!
So I tried one of these on my blog {they are so pretty!} and liked back to Elegance of Fashion. My only problem is with the size...for some reason it wanted to downsize the banner. If you have ideas I'd appreciate it. :) Have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteAnaliese,
DeleteI've seen this happen before. I think when Google makes a thumbnail of a picture, they create their own image (which is the image you must have grabbed). If you click on the picture, the full sized picture should pop-up and then you can copy the image's URL.
It worked! Thanks. :)
