Rememberance of a Most Beloved Sister

Yesterday, my sister was called up to Heaven. She had been sick for two and a half years; yesterday, her suffering ended. I ask you all to keep my family in your prayers. She was a very sweet person and I'm having a very difficult time now.

"Grant eternal rest onto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in piece. Amen."

God Bless,
 God Bless, Miss Elizabeth Bennet

  2. Miss Bennet, I am so, so sorry to hear this. You and your family are in my prayers. I can't imagine how this must be for you.

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
    ~Psalm 91:1-4

He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces.

  13. I am so sorry for your loss! But the greatest comfort of all is that she is with her Savior in heaven, in perfect happiness and bliss.(: I've lost both my grandmother and my uncle recently, and that is what has kept me going.

"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life."
    -1 John 5.11
"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
    -1 Cor. 15.55-57
"and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
    -Rev. 21.4

May you and your family be comforted during this time!

  21. I have enjoyed reading your blog and am saddened to hear of your family's loss. May God grant you His peace and comfort.
"But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him all those who sleep in Jesus. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words." I Thes. 4:13-14, 16-18. God be with you.
