Rememberance of a Most Beloved Sister

Yesterday, my sister was called up to Heaven. She had been sick for two and a half years; yesterday, her suffering ended. I ask you all to keep my family in your prayers. She was a very sweet person and I'm having a very difficult time now.

"Grant eternal rest onto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in piece. Amen."

God Bless,
 God Bless, Miss Elizabeth Bennet

  1. I'm so sorry to hear that. However expected her death was, it doesn't make it any easier when it happens, I will be praying for your family.

  2. Miss Bennet, I am so, so sorry to hear this. You and your family are in my prayers. I can't imagine how this must be for you.

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
    ~Psalm 91:1-4

  3. Oh, Elizabeth, I am so sorry! I am praying that you and your family may find comfort in God's peace. Your sister is in Heaven right now, and she is not sick anymore. *hug*

Oh, my how very sad. My family and I were so sorry to hear of your sister's death. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.
May the LORD carry you all in His arms through this trial.

    Psalm 46:1-2
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.

    Isaiah 25:8
He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces.

  9. I am so sorry for you and your family. Be assured that you are all in my prayers.

"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him."
    1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

  10. I don't know what to say...oh you poor thing. I am praying for you and your family. Stay strong!! The LORD has you in the palm of His hands.
    How old was she??

    ~Miss Raquel

  11. Prayers for you and for the repose of her soul!

  12. There isn't much I can say except may you and your family find comfort in God's presence. Will remember you in my prayers...

  13. I am so sorry for your loss! But the greatest comfort of all is that she is with her Savior in heaven, in perfect happiness and bliss.(: I've lost both my grandmother and my uncle recently, and that is what has kept me going.

"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life."
    -1 John 5.11
"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
    -1 Cor. 15.55-57
"and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
    -Rev. 21.4

May you and your family be comforted during this time!

  18. She was the sweetest person I ever knew and I pray for solace for you and your family.

  19. Praying for you, Miss Elizabeth.

  20. Miss Bennet, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. May you know the Lord's comforts at this time - may He restore joy to your heart and secure you in peace knowing that a heavenly reunion for eternity awaits.
    Miss Kathy

  21. I am very sorry for your loss, and I'll be praying for you and your family.

  22. I have enjoyed reading your blog and am saddened to hear of your family's loss. May God grant you His peace and comfort.
"But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him all those who sleep in Jesus. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words." I Thes. 4:13-14, 16-18. God be with you.

  23. Dear Miss Elizabeth Bennet,
I know full well that no words of mine can ever comfort you for such a loss, but please remember that God loves you and your sister so very much. He will never let you down. I will definitely be praying for you and your family. May God bless and keep your family through this fiery trial.
