Period Drama Week - Thursday: Which Period Drama Characters Would Be Friends?

It's Thursday of Period Drama Week and has Period Drama Week gone by quickly! Only two more posts after this... For Thursday, another little thing that can get you involved. This idea came from Miss Laurie from Old-Fashioned Charm in her questionnaire from Jane Austen Week.

Since with a lot of period dramas (especially the ones that last more than four hours), we really get to know a lot of the characters: their personalities, sayings, what everyone thinks about them, etc. So the question that I pose to you is "Which Period Drama Characters Would be Friends?" You can post about this at your blog or you can simply comment here about it. Whatever works for you!

Rules:
Okay, they're not so much rules. They're just little questions to expand upon the question.
  1. Name the two characters that you think would be friends. They have to be from different period dramas, but they can be from two period dramas that were written by the same author (so you could have someone from Northanger Abbey and Sense and Sensibility, both Jane Austen novels).
  2. Say why you think the two characters would be good friends.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you leave a URL for your blog post about this question. It makes it easier for everyone to find, plus I may want to quote you for the conclusion of Period Drama Week!

 God Bless,
 God Bless, Miss Elizabeth Bennet
