9/11, Twelve Years Later

I can't believe it has been twelve years since 9/11 happened. It seemed like it didn't happen that long ago. I still remember being in school when my teacher turned the TV on and we watched it happen -- America was under attack. Twelve years later, and I still remember where I was when it happened. I'm sure many of you do too.

Everyone was scared. No one knew what was going to happen next. The world was altered because of that day. But yet, we were able to come together and unite against this act of terrorism.

Everyday, our military fights to keep us safe. So, as you remember what happened on this day, twelve years ago, remember to pray both the people that died in that attack and the men and women who risk their lives to keep us safe.

 God Bless,
God Bless, Miss Elizabeth Bennet

  2. This is a beautiful post on 9/11. Thank you for sharing. I agree that we should always remember the sacrifices men and women have made for our freedom. I wrote a blog post on how teachers can teach about 9/11 and keep this legacy alive. It is weird to think about how secondary students now don't even remember 9/11 happening.
