Sense and Sensibility (1995)
Elinor
Dashwood has always been one of my favorite Austen heroines -- out
of all of them, I'm most similar to her. She's pretty awesome and while
there are things about her I don't like, overall she's a favorite of mine.
Emma Thompson plays her amazingly in
this movie.
Though
I've seen and enjoyed the 2008 version of this movie, I think this one
remains my favorite. I have full reviews on my blog (links at the bottom of the post), so you can check
that out too.
A little
about me: As you can see,
my name is Charity. I've been blogging on my own blog, Austenitis, for
about two and a half years now -- resulting in thousands of posts. Most of them are book reviews, with
an occasional movie review, spotlight, or other kind of post thrown in. I'm in my late teens, love Jane
Austen and the color blue, have four younger siblings, drive a Dodge Ram 1500, and am going to Alaska
for the summer. And that sums me up! I've included some links below
where you can find me and/or my blog. Hope to see you there! </

ReplyDeleteHow fun! I like the other S&S version, too, but this one is by far the best. :D
