Poll Results (Combo of Little Women Poll and Caption)

Again, sorry my posts have been a little infrequent. I'm working on posting on a regular basis, but I'm still trying to work through my school schedule/work schedule/etc. I hope to post at least once a week (hopefully more, but at least once a week). And hopefully I'll get back to posting reviews on a more regular basis.

I intended to post about the poll separately, but since they both ended before I could put a post together, I'm doing a combo post for both polls.

First, the Little Women poll. And I see there were people commenting on what they thought in the poll (very nice!) and there was a nice range of opinions.

Who should Theodore "Laurie" Laurence from Little Women have married?

Jo March
  26 (41%)
Amy March
  36 (58%)

The majority agrees that Laurie made the right choice in marrying Amy. Thanks for voting, everyone!

Now for the second poll: the Caption Contest! Now, here's the picture as a reminder:

And here is how you voted (check out the captions):
Caption 1
  11 (23%)
Caption 2
  12 (25%)
Caption 3
  11 (23%)
Caption 4
  10 (21%)
Caption 5
  10 (21%)
Caption 6
  15 (31%)
Caption 7
  22 (46%)
Caption 8
  13 (27%)
Caption 9
  2 (4%)
Caption 10
  18 (38%)
Caption 11

Caption 13

Caption 14

So, the winning caption was Caption #7.

Congratulations, Amy!  And I made a button for you to display on your blog:

A big thanks to everyone for participating in both polls! I hope to have a new poll up soon.

  1. Hi! Yes, they are the JP Ryan strapless stays. I would recommend them thus far, I still have to finish them. But overall, I was pleased. The instruction are in small print and can be a bit confusing. But since you already tried stays before, you shouldn't have much trouble!

    Thanks!

  2. I have always maintained that Laurie should have married Amy. Good to know I'm not alone. ;) He and Jo just weren't right for each other... and Professor Bhaer was so PERFECT for her!

Thank you so much for the button! How exciting to win the contest! I'll display it on my blog with pride. :D Thanks for hosting!

    1. You're very welcome! I just watched my first episode of Poirot today on Masterpiece Mystery, so now I understand your caption better. :-)

    2. Ooh! Miss Elizabeth! I've been watching a lot of Poirot lately! ;) How I got started was wanting to see some of the episodes that had recognizable actors on it. Heehee. "The little gray cells" always amuse me. ;)

      Congratulations, Amy!
