Happy Independence Day

Here in America, we celebrate Independence Day. Today in 1776, our founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence to declare independence from England. This was to start a war and many people died to ensure that we have the freedoms that we have today.


So, while we're enjoying barbecues, picnics, and fireworks, remember what we are actually celebrating.


"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." - The Declaration of Independence


We remember the founding fathers who laid out the foundations of this country to make it the great country that it is today. We remember those who fought for our freedoms, both in the past and in the present. We remember what a great country this is to live in. We remember that we are a nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.


"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."
