Banner: 2005 Pride and Prejudice

Though it is not my favorite version of Pride and Prejudice, I recognize that there are many of my dear followers who like the 2005 movie of Pride and Prejudice. I had just yesterday gotten a request from Eva-Joy from Between the Covers to do a banner of Keira Knightley's Elizabeth Bennet. Here is what I came up with.

I think it turned out really well. The thing with making banners and using Photoshop is that if you play around with it enough, you run into new techniques that you can use. I think I've found a couple of new techniques with this banner.

So, what do you think of this new banner? Even if you don't like the 2005 movie, how do you think it turned out? Do you like the effects that I used (words behind Lizzy, light glowing effect, etc.)? Feel free to leave a comment!

 God Bless,
 God Bless, Miss Elizabeth Bennet

  2. Oh wow! That's a really cool banner! I prefer the older version of Pride and Prejudice but cool banner none the less. And I love your Elizabeth Bennet one!! It's so cool! That's definitely my favorite movie version.

  3. Not my favorite version either, but I like it. :) I love the way it _feels_ like she's twirling. The words are great, and I do like the effects! Maybe you should do some from the 1995 Persuasion or the 2008 S&S. :) A thought. I'll up this one on my blog ASAP!

  6. Yeah, the 2005 P&P is DEFINITELY nowhere near as good as the '95 version, but the banner is great!
