Winner of The 2nd Period Drama Heroine Tournament!

The poll closed a couple of days ago. The 2nd Period Drama Heroine Tournament has concluded. The winner is... after a close race...


Margaret Hale (North and South) is the winner!

  2. How lovely! I'm delighted Margaret has won and it's strangely satisfying that she's not an Austen heroine either (perhaps I expected one of them to win). Though it's interesting that Margaret story is similar to Pride and Prejudice and that Elizabeth Bennet won in the first tournament.
    Thank you for continuing it even though it was marred by grief for you. Thank you for hosting this tournament, it was a lot of fun voting in the different rounds and helping with the heroine profiles.

  4. Wow! I fully expected Anne to be the winner, but I like Margaret also. Very interesting that a Jane Austen heroine did not make it to the final round.

    This was so much fun! I would love to see another tournament of this sort, perhaps with villains.

  6. I'm so Happy Margaret won. I didn't want Anne to win. She is OK, but in my mind she is not the best Heroine :D . Congrats Margaret Hale :D .
