He suspects that Amy is somehow connected with an unknown secret in the Clennams’ past.

You hear about her teaching school as a late teen, and eventually, her romance, marriage, and her daughter. Laura is brave and an excellent writer, to judge by these books.

A confidante for Jo, and also for Beth and Amy. She’s especially close to Amy. Meg is a little vain at times, but she’s almost always kind and loving. The biggest role for her in Little Women is meeting her Mr. Right. J She goes on to have children (who figure in the later books) and have various struggles (mostly chronicled in the second part of Little Women.).

But Victoria is determined to follow her own heart and head and acts for the good of her country. She falls in love with Prince Albert and asks him to reign by her side.
