Oh dear! Mr. Knightley is up against Mr. Darcy! All of these heroes are such worthy men who deserve the title of "favorite hero" so this makes it extra hard to vote this round! I'm rooting for Mr. Knightley and Captain Wentworth because they are my favorites (next to Henry Tilney). I voted for Mr. Knightley because although I do like Mr. Darcy by the end of P&P I have a hard time liking him at the beginning, unlike Mr. Knightley who is a kind and friendly gentleman throughout the whole of Emma. But it's so hard to choose!

NO! NO! NO!!!! I just knew that would happen! This is awful....Darcy against Knightley?!?!?! That wasn't supposed to happen until the last round! *sighs* Ohhhh dear. I voted on #2 poll for Mr Thornton which wasn't hard for me... but... but....probably my two favorite heroes against each other!?! I'll simply have to wait to vote, that's what.

ReplyDeleteI was shocked when it came to that: all the matches are done randomly. I couldn't believe it! I thought that a lot of people aren't going to like this...
As difficult as it was to choose, my votes went to Mr. Knightley and Mr. Thornton.
ReplyDeleteMr. Darcy will always be my favorite, but I have enjoyed the others as leading men also.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I think Persuasion is very underated, in comparison to other Jane Austen novels & movies. It was a lovely movie with brilliant actors.

Knightley's one vote ahead right now! I have a feeling Mr. Knightley's top fans have already voted, and the slightly undecided people (like me) will come in and end up voting for Darcy at the end. But we'll see.
