The King's Speech Released on DVD today!

The King's Speech was released today, April 19th, on Blu-Ray and DVD. I got my copy today!

I highly recommend this movie! Colin Firth was excellent in this movie! The version that was released today is the original R rated version (for language in two scenes). I don't know if they are going to release the PG-13 version on DVD, which edited out some of the swears.

  2. I'm greatly anticipating The King's Speech! I haven't seen it yet though I really want to. I've heard it has some good themes. But of course, I've also been warned concerning all the swearing used in the film, so I'm still wary of them.

  3. Jemimah C.,
It's really good. The first scene that has the swearing you'll know when the majority of the swears are coming (there's a line that goes something like "Do you know any swears?"). The second scene (Maybe spoilers? but probably not) is more towards the end when King George VI is rehearsing a speech. Mainly, the swears are concentrated in those two areas while the rest of the film doesn't have many or their minor ones.

I hope you enjoy it! :-)
