I must adopt Jane Bennet's phrase: "Poor Mr. Darcy!"

Although if the opposite had happened, I'd be saying "Poor Knightley". Really, I've had Mr. Knightley in my head for a few days now...:P

And furthermore, even if I did sort of hope Darcy would win (I voted for him, after all), Mr. Knightley was Jane Austen's favorite, therefore I must draw satisfaction. ;-)

But...poor Mr. Darcy. Maybe he'll win next time. :PMelodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05676306236172688321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4523012080492654376.post-57867532703000543322011-06-14T01:35:49.182-05:002011-06-14T01:35:49.182-05:00I am so delighted with the outcome of this round! ...I am so delighted with the outcome of this round! It's not that I don't like Mr. Darcy, it's that I was rooting for Mr. Knightley and didn't really expect him to win, but he did! And how delightful to have an Austen hero and a Gaskell hero in the final round!

~Miss Laurie
Old-Fashioned CharmMiss Lauriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00973247921599001493noreply@blogger.com
